Legal Food Frenzy
The Attorney General's Office has launched
its second annual "Legal Food Frenzy" campaign.
The Legal Food Frenzy (LFF) is a benevolent competition sponsored
by the AGO in partnership with the Greater Boston Food Bank
and the legal community in Massachusetts, including SABA GB.
Law firms and law schools sign up to participate in a campaign
to raise funds and collect food for the various food pantries
throughout Massachusetts during a traditionally slow time
for donations - and compete to win the "AG's Cup."
All of the funds and food collected go to the Greater Boston
Food Bank to benefit hungry families across the Commonwealth.
For more information about this campaign, please visit the
LFF page of the AGO website.
Please encourage your law school, firm, or organization to
participate!!

NASABA NEWS: Development Committee and How You Can Help!
NASABA Development Committee
 |
Thanks to all of your efforts as well
as the efforts of our Executive Director, our Executive
Assistant and other professionals engaged by NASABA,
NASABA has been growing and improving over the past
seven years. As part of NASABA's next step, NASABA
has created a Development |
Committee which will be focused on creating a model through
which NASABA can generate revenue over the course of the
year, separate from the NASABA Convention. In these difficult
economic times, we cannot rely on Convention income solely
to continue NASABA operations. Moreover, there are may areas
in which we would like to expand, and that will only be
possible if we can financially support that growth. To address
these issues, we have formed the NASABA Development Committee
which will be responsible for formulating NASABA's business
plan and begin to execute it.
We hope to get this Committee up and running as soon as
possible (and hopefully present some of its work at the
NASABA Leadership Retreat) so we are seeking people to serve
on this Committee. If you or someone you know are entrepreneurial,
have ideas and thoughts about creative ways NASABA can generate
revenue, and are interested in serving on the NASABA Development
Committee, please contact Anna Sankaran at sankarana@gtlaw.com.
Please send contact and some background information.
