Over the past several years, a group of Boston area South Asian attorneys have worked together to organize the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston (“SABA GB”). SABA GB is the local chapter of the North American South Asian Bar Association (“NASABA”). On November 10, 2004, SABA GB officially announced itself through a launch event at Bingham McCutchen LLP in Boston. Over the past few years, with the support of many members of the South Asian legal community, SABA GB has organized successful social and networking events, mentoring programs, career panels, and substantive topical discussions. We have also participated in activities and meetings with the NASABA and have co-sponsored events with other local bar associations and South Asian community groups.

The annual dues we receive are used to develop programs and activities of interest to our membership. Among the benefits SABA GB members will receive are discounts or free admission to SABA GB events. We look forward to developing SABA as an organization that grows and changes according to the interests and needs of our community.
