Tara Singh Co-President Hinckley Allen & Snyder
Tara is a Partner at Hinckley Allen & Snyder, LLP where she focuses her practice on white-collar defense, internal and government-initiated investigations and complex civil litigation. She also represents individuals and institutions in administrative proceedings, such as Title IX and licensing matters, guiding clients through complex proceedings while ensuring procedural compliance and the full protection of their rights. Tara is a double Terrier, having graduated from Boston University School of Law and BU’s undergraduate program. During law school, Tara participated in the Criminal Law Clinic and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Paul L. Friedman of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. She previously served as President of SABA-DC and as Secretary of SABA North America, and taught at The George Washington University Law School as an adjunct professor in the Scholarly Writing Program. |

Sonia received her J.D., with Berger specialization in International Law, from Cornell Law School, where she was awarded the John J. Kelly Memorial Prize awarded to a law student best exemplifying the values of scholarship, fair play, and good humor. She received her B.S. in Economics, summa cum laude, from Northeastern University. Sonia grew up in Greater Boston, and was honored by India New England as one of the Top 20 South Asian Women in New England in 2015 for her community advocacy. |
